Second stage, water flows through a MANGANESE, IRON AND HYDROGEN SULFIDE reducing media mineral tank, efficiently removing MANGANESE, IRON AND HYDROGEN SULFIDE. Third stage, water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents. Poly Glass It works on a principle whereby the hydrogen sulfide, iron and manganese are oxidized and trapped on the media. No regeneration is required. Simple backwashing cleans the filter.
